Survivor Guatemala was the eleventh season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor. The season premiered on September 15, 2005, and ended on December 11, 2005. The season was filmed in the Yaxhá and Nakúm archaeological sites in Guatemala. This season featured 18 contestants divided into two tribes named Yaxhá and Nakúm.
The Yaxhá tribe consisted of Amy O'Hara, Blake Towsley, Brandon Bellinger, Brianna Varela, Gary Hogeboom, Jamie Newton, Margaret Bobonich, and Rafe Judkins, while the Nakúm tribe consisted of Bobby Jon Drinkard, Brandon Quinton, Brian Corridan, Cindy Hall, Danni Boatwright, Gary "Papa Smurf" Stritesky, Jim Lynch, Lydia Morales, and Stephenie LaGrossa.
Danni Boatwright emerged as the winner of Survivor Guatemala after defeating Stephenie LaGrossa in the final two. She won by a vote of 6-1 and received a grand prize of $1 million. Stephenie LaGrossa won the title of Fan Favorite and received a $100,000 prize.
The season was known for its tough physical challenges, harsh living conditions, and intense strategizing among the contestants. It was also the first season to feature returning players and had a theme of ancient Mayan civilization.
